Kennedy Meadows is located approximately 60 miles East of Sonora, nestled high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Come and stay with us at the resort, go for a day ride, or let us pack you into the Emigrant Wilderness, Carson Iceberg Wilderness, or northern Yosemite National Park.
We open for the season on the last Friday in April and close on Columbus Day in October.

Kennedy Meadows is a seasonal resort, and the highway (Hwy 108 - Sonora Pass) to Kennedy Meadows closes for the winter. Spring and Fall road conditions can change quickly, so be sure to check the latest road conditions before you travel. Road conditions, per CalTrans, for Hwy 108 (from the Central Valley) and Hwy 395 (from the Eastern Sierras) are below.
